Gold hovered near a six-month high on Tuesday, as investors stayed put ahead of a German court ruling on the euro zone's rescue fund and the Federal Reserve's policy meeting, while a weaker dollar lent support.

COPPER
London copper edged higher on Wednesday, extending gains to a fourth session, on bets that a German court ruling on the euro zone's rescue fund will be passed.

GOLD
Gold added $4.93 an ounce to $1,774.39 after rising as high as $1,777.51 on Friday, its highest since late February.
SILVER

Silver tracked gold higher and held near its strongest since March. Platinum was near multi-month highs even after Anglo American Platinum said it will resume work this week at its strike-hit Rustenburg operations.

COPPER
London copper edged down slightly on Monday after steep gains in the previous session, although prices did not stray too far from a 4-1/2 month top as a new round of U.S. monetary stimulus measures and a weak dollar continued to support sentiment.

GOLD
Gold steadied near its highest level since February on Thursday, as investors paused after lifting prices by nearly 10 percent so far this month following moves by central banks from the United States to Japan to spur growth in their economies.

SILVER

COPPER
London copper slipped on Thursday after data from top consumer China showed manufacturing activity steadying, but not improving, while enthusiasm waned over Japan's easing steps that pushed prices to a 4-1/2 month high in the prior session.

Gold fell more than 1 percent on Monday, after investors, encouraged by recent stimulus measures by central banks, pushed prices to the highest level in nearly seven months in the previous session.
SILVER
Spot silver fell 1.9 percent to an intra-day low of $33.78.
COPPER
Copper fell on Monday, weighed down by a firmer dollar and festering concerns on Europe's debt crisis.

GOLD
Gold was steady on Thursday, holding minor gains from the previous two sessions as investors awaited cues from central banks on their plans to shore up the frail global economy, while a key U.S. employment report on Friday was also in focus.
SILVER
Silver edged down 0.2 percent to $34.51 an ounce.

COPPER
Copper drifted lower on Thursday as worries over a worsening outlook for Europe's economy and slowing growth in China weighed, although signals that a U.S. economic recovery was taking hold was expected to check losses.

GOLD
Gold inched up on Tuesday, after two straight days of losses, but a strong dollar as a result of worries over the euro zone debt crisis is expected to keep bullion under pressure.
SILVER
In other precious metals, silver fell by 1.4 percent to $33.98 an ounce, bringing the loss in value over the last two days to more than 3 percent, and wiping out gains over the last two weeks that took the market to seven-month highs.
COPPER
London copper edged up 0.2 percent on Tuesday after it touched a one-week low in the previous session, triggering bargain hunting from investors and automated buy orders.

Gold hovered just above $1,760 an ounce on Wednesday after three straight sessions of losses, as a murky outlook for global growth buoyed the dollar and pressured bullion.
SILVER
Silver eased 0.1 percent at $33.91 an ounce.

London copper firmed on Wednesday on bargain-hunting and on fresh signs that Beijing is acting to bolster China's stock markets and economy.
