churchill Strauss?

Yes, Ian, their info 'pack' mentions that they've advertised on Hemscott, and, as a result, the demand for their 'service' is likely to mean restricted entry very soon...guess you're in the financial game, if you use Hemscott?
I've done some research on various property forums, and can find nothing on Churchill Strauss/Manning, though some stuff on Gary Henderson. I wonder if there's any link between him and Strauss/Manning?
Will email Olweiser on the consortium thing, since if £160,000 per annum is a 'normal' return at a pound a pop, per Churchill's literature, then split several ways, it's still worth a punt.

Hi Guys,

Thought I had better introduce myself I am Gary Henderson and I have just read the posts regarding Churchill Strauss and thought I would give you my views on this opportunity.

Firstly I would like to make it crystal clear we are not part of Churchill Strauss, we are a property company with a large database of investors and specialise in buying to hold, buying to sell and redevelopments throughout the UK.

We came across Churchill Strauss through another contact of ours who has been using their services and as I had a particular interest in doing spread betting as I had tried it several times in the past with limited success I thought I would give it a go.

I can understand all your views as lets face it the companies website and brochure are not big glossy and flashy affairs and do look quite poor quality although I have to say and some of you may find this a bit odd I found this rather refreshing as we have all seen scams out there and most of them do invest in expensive websites and brochures etc to suck unsuspecting punters in whereas this had the opposite effect with me.

I have been using their services since December and have done remarkably well using their trades that they text to my mobile, in February alone we were up 1100 points profit and have not had a losing month.

We have already made the membership fee back a few times over and long may it continue as I'm genuinely enjoying the buz on this and are finding it quite easy to run along side our property business even though this is extremely busy at the moment as it only takes a couple of minutes to ring the trades through to the broker or place online.

If anyone wants to discuss this with me then please email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to help as I cant get to this forum that often.

Unfortunately we dont have a flashy website either in fact we dont have a website at all as most of our deals are done through email, we also dont have a brochure but we are very well known in the property industry so it should not be hard to check us out to see we are genuine people.

All I can say in closing is that Churchill Strauss service is working for us, they do of course have losing trades as we all know there is not any system or service that can't stop losing trades as that's trading however they do seem to have more winners than losers.

I'm sure I have not convinced some of you and some of you will always think this is a scam and I respect your views entirely on this, if that's the case I will have been conned although as I have made the membership amount several times over i'm not too concerned.

Please feel free to email me.

Thanks

Gary

Has anyone heard of this trading company and got any experiences with dealing with them?

Looks like a scam. Church-Strauss is a common name for the disease Churg-Strauss syndrome [allergic granulomatosis] which is a medium and small vessel autoimmune vasculitis, leading to necrosis.

Are these guys that stupid or that smart?

Scam or No scam

Hi All

My first posting. I've been doing due diligence on Churchill Strauss for three weeks now and just found t2w on the www whilst googling.

I agree that the whole offering appears to be too good to be true and perhaps it is. I've spoken twice to Anthony (Tony ) J Manning, a charming and urbane man, and also had extensive email contact with him. He claims to live mostly in Zurich when he's not meating bankers in the City. His home town is Colchester and he always answers the phone as the dealers are always busy.

If you're trading as successfully as Tony claims why do you wish the aggro of running another income stream?

I'm holding on to my £2.5k:smart:

Hi Brewery Paul,

I cant actually recall talking to you on the telephone but I guess you would not have introduced yourself as Brewery Paul so we may well of spoken in the past.

To be honest I dont think anything I say will convince you as you already seem to have made your mind up this is some sort of scam.

As I have mentioned in my previous posting this service is working exceptionally well for us and we remain very happy with the service.

As to you point why would Churchill do this for another income stream the answer is why wouldn't they as if they get say 100 members at £2,500 that's an easy £250K extra per year just to send members their trades (a no brainer really) and if they do well those members will continue next year.

We are up over 800 points this month so far on their trades and another week to go.

Hi all thought I should cherp in, I have been receiving the texts for 2 weeks now my father is in property and signed me up, started trading yesterday at 10pence/point and made £38 more than happy with there service. I will be trading at £1/ point from now on, all texts I have received so far have been winning trades, anyone get a piece of DJI or USD/NOK yesterday? I did :)

Hi Experenced it All,

Ref your quoteSure you are Im up a million points

It seems you are happy to slate this opportunity without looking into the facts, I don't have to lie about the points we are up this month and I would be happy to email these to you however I suspect your one of these people that prefers to be negative for the sake of it.

We too got in on the USD/NOK yesterday from the text message and locked in another 200 points profit so now up over 1000 points this month.

Not sure if you are GH in another guise?
I can understand the previous cynicism to some extent as there are a lot of scams on the go.
I`m still interested in this potential opportunity and would welcome any additional evidence you may care to provide.
If you PM me I would be obliged.
Cheers.

The problem with a signal service is that you never learn for yourself so you're always relying on someone else to "feed" you

Sure Buddy, Send me big news about what happened yesterday!

Sure, you keep saying what you got into and how much you made after the fact. I can send you my trades tonight and show you how I make another million points today.

I will go look at the highs and lows of every currency for the day and get back to saying I played every position perfectly. I will email it to you if you want me to PROVE this is not a scam!?!??

Can you send me an email with your positions for tomorrow??? :?:

Everyone is calling me a scammer too, but I am actually not - I thought I could show people how to stay away from guys like you and make solid money long term, but no one wants to hear anyone out!

FX is for professionals who work with institutions who have the leverage, the rest of you will lose in the long run. You have to keep guessing at the market while they control it (just like roulette), who do you think will win? :smart:

And why did this company pick a name related to a horrible disease???

I have absolutely no problem with someone feeding me information...provided it makes me money.
If I`m honest, I have neither the time nor the inclination to study the process in-depth and if by paying a fee I can source reliable information which produces positive financial results then that is fine by me.
Each to their own,but I only joined this forum to ascertain if there was any reliable information available regarding Churchill Strauss.:)

Fair enough, i was just pointing out that with a signal service you'll never know when a trade fails if they sent you a bad trade or if it's just the market being choppy.

Regarding time there are lots of methods mention on here and other place where you can trade end of day or hourly.

If you're interested i can point you towards a simple method that only requires checking once every hour and if the setup occurs then put on an order.

If you're interested i'll send you the link to the threads on it.

It'll be free to research and save spending £2500 on signals (and if you do decide to use it you could always send me the £2500, lol)

Any info will be gratefully received.

diligence

there I was thinking I was the only one going to have to do the diligence on this'company'.It appears you have done it all for me! I have been approached by several boiler room scams last year, wanting a few k sent to them to buy shares in upcoming stocks.Funny they claim to be in the netherlands or spain, you can never get through to them on the phone, and they want money sent to hongkong or the us! I never knew what a boiler room scam was until last year. This one does not look that much better on the face of it,I only got as far as following up on some fx company that these investors put me onto a while ago.It appeared very cagey then, very hard to trackdown and have never sent me the trade results as they said they would.I remember some comments about they were not fsa registered as being an excuse to not give too much info or advice.

I think we are right to be sceptical,I have lost a small fortune this last 12 months on property deals that I could no longer complete on,deposits gone and mortgage shortfalls.only now am I turning the corner.I think a consortium maybe a good idea?
I have some experience on s/b on the ftse 350,had some success, but then the spreadbetting company went bust !
But I want to continue to pursue investing as part of my long term plan for my future,so I will persit and will succeed and find the right investment vehicle for me.It's whether I want to part with 2500 for such an amatuer info pack........................

Let`s face it---no-one is going to part very easily with two and a half grand these days.
I don`t know if the original poster has received enough interest in a consortium but I think I`ll focus on the more tried and tested methods as advocated by some of the experienced users of this forum.
Good luck!

Doesn't really mean much as there's not proof whatsoever. Why not post your next trade as soon as you've made it? No-one is going to believe what is basically a string of dates and numbers.

Hi NS1000,

To be honest with you I don't need to prove or dis-prove these figures and haven't got the time to convince the sceptical.

These are the trades we have done received by text from Churchill Strauss obviously if you don't believe them then that's your prerogative in which case all I can say is don't join them.

As to listing trades as they come in I would not have time each day to do this and even then I doubt you would be convinced.

I will post again at the end of April results.

Thanks

BIGGH
