Carbon Markets information ?

Hi

I am looking to find my way through the confusing lingo and array of products in the Carbon markets. It seems the EU ETS is the most traded but how are they traded are they futures, options, OTC etc? and who trades them are they interbank via brokers, end user to banks via a broker, is there even a need for brokers ?
