Cable Systems

Hi Guys,

Does anyone here trade or design Cable systems? I have tried a number of systems, and although profitable, I find that after around 1994, 1995 the equity curve gets completely flat, no losses, no gains (to speak of!). Anyone else have this problem?

1994/5....! that is one monstrous flat spot. I would suggest you look for signals that are of shorter duration. Last year was a gift for any directional system, this year has been tougher.
I tend to look for systems that are going to make me some money in this lifetime not the last or the next.

I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem, using an end of day system, it seems that most systems peak around 1994/5 and then do nothing, obviously there are exceptions, but since I wasn't trading then, I was wondering what had changed.
