Brokerage Interview

Hi Guys,

I have a phone interview with a brokerage firm (for a graduate programme) within in the next week and was wondering whether anyone could tell me the type of questions to expect?

They have told me to expect it to last about 20mins.

Any help would be much appreciated.

At a minimum, make sure to know what the company does, how they make money, what their clients do, what products they offer...

You would be surprised at how many people haven't looked basic stuff up on an interview.

I'm afraid I won't be of much help on hard questions that may be asked.

Broking is more often than not about people skills. Market knowledge is a bonus but you'd be surprised how many brokers really aren't that market savvy.
