from memory trigger occurred at 2pm uk time during 8th october.

trigger is VIX taking out previous days high.

think many people are not happy with TVIX, does not do what it says on the tin.

overnight FTSE on tradefair bounced from Thursdays low 5766, SP500 closed friday at 27 day lows. Time Haefke said that 1421.5 is a big level on SP500 dec futures. we bounced from there.

overnight FTSE on tradefair bounced from Thursdays low 5766, SP500 closed friday at 27 day lows. Time Haefke said that 1421.5 is a big level on SP500 dec futures. we bounced from there.

11.15am Sydney time there was big drop in everything, DOW was down 50.
Would have seen the drop in SP500 dec futures.
Not sure why, my guess Japan 15 mins after the open.
Strange day and very hard to trade in Asia.
