Debt crisis: live - Telegraph

Rumour that the spanish govt is going to have an unscheduled press conference in which Spain will ask official support from the EFSF

if this comes true it will drive Spanish yields considerably lower....

any shorts need to be careful as this could send the markets in to sky

spain yields lower and banks holding Spanish debt will go much higher, HSBC +2.5%

RBS +4.4% etc. etc.

euro, sterling, aud, s&p, dax, ftse all will go higher...

need to be careful here ...market is rife with rumors and things can move at a rapid speed

it seems to be calm before the storm

fridays tend to be painful.

this website was down for about 20mins, HSBC now up 3.3%

fridays great day for spreading rumours and whispering in chinese

Team GB narrowly beat the Aussies in the rowing. Happy that we won, even though I lost a fiver on it :D

SD

Any chance of the Germans dropping the Euro.

Or just media crap.

thats being doing the rounds for so long, ie that they have printed deautchsmarks and all that, if they bring back the deautchsmark i would keep my savings in them

NFP has done nothing for this today.

Ftse still trading much stronger than Dow, although the gap has closed slightly now.

Ftse actually trading up around the Dow highs of yesterday and doesn't seem to be relenting.
