Another Journal...

This was a particularly frustrating first trade.

The pullback was on low volume which was a positive sign but unfortunately it just squeezed a little too much for me and I ended up puking pretty much the low.

As mentioned in countless posts over on 'Making Money Trading' and 'Potential Setups', I just got nailed by the retracement bus which came back to pick up those that weren't on board for the original move.

Fascinating how you can be so aware of a repeating pattern but fall for it time and time again.

So, this was a poor start from me with a profit of...yes...£1.

So, for my next trade...

Still having to trade equities for now until my margin increases.

I bought £1 a tick in Kingfisher on Tuesday at 139p.

Attached chart shows up to eod yesterday.

There has been a good rally today with shares up another 3.85% so far.

I just exited Kingfisher as the price hit the descending TL seen in the chart above.

The problem I had here is that because I am trading at the minimum stake, I cannot exit in increments - when I exit, I must exit all at one price.

So I decided to exit as price traded into my first target which was hit shortly before Non-Farm Payrolls.

Profit on the trade was £8.

What happened to this thread, anyway? Just curiosity because I don't trade shares anymore , but so many veterans come to untimely ends. TD, you didn't go bust for 15 quid, did you?

You are one of the guys on whom I have based my faith!
