Been reading alot of books and on here quite a bit.

When I first got into spreadbetting about 8 months ago, I thought it was an easy way to make money, when I made that 1 big win, but just ignored all of my losses, which were much larger than my win in total (demo account). Thought it was an easy way of a great living style, with a good salary...

I have read on here many times that dont start trading with real money until you have developed a strategy/system... Can someone give me an example please. Why cant you just trade, by doing what you think is right at the time, buying or selling?!

Has it ever been used in spread betting? Its when you keep doubling up btw after a loss.

Does it help? Have you ever based a trade on what the TV says?

Ok, I have Sky next to my PC. What channel should I be tuned into?! Im trading daily, is there any point in listening to a channel like Bloomberg?

Why is there one? On Trad anyway. Its usually 20 pips, why cant you have it at say 5-10?

Made a 70 pip trade yesterday with this idea! Every day it has went below and above the starting price for about 3 weeks now. Yesterday, it hadnt dropped below when I looked at it, and was well above the starting price, so I sold, confident it would inevitablely drop below, and it did, 70pips...

Ok, I think If I keep my trading simple and disciplined is the way for me. Sometimes I think things that are the most important to us are hidden because they are so simple...

Naked trading aye, is it possible to be succesful this way? It may sound like complete gambling and no logic behind bets, but if the chart is low, go long vice versa...like that.

The upcomingstockmaster thinks that by keeping it SIMPLE, will work. Is learning about all this stuff a waste of time? Could I be succesful by keeping it simple, ie betting when I think the time is right by not using any of this technical analysis stuff, or is it impossible/extremely unlikely.
