oil 5minute and 1minute chart
The price broke to the upside. And it shot straight to $100 and turned around.
However looking at the 5minute chart on the left, it looks another nice formation! Another trading zone approaches.
The attachment on the left is a 5min and 1min oil chart respectively.
The attachment on the right is a dialy oil chart. You can see the price did get up and tested $92. The price broke straight through it!

I used to trade google ALOT! Either way you are right. Unless you talking large volumes of money then yes.
Unfortunately my style of trading is always about creating a scalable money management strategy...so this led me to look...

What style of trading are you going to...
Was thinking of day trading stocks and if i did then google would be an excellent candidate. I used to trade GOOG actively when I was trading EOD.
But i find that FX and Commodities have better liquidity....but its just preference i suppose. I havent ruled out day trading stocks again but not...
Crude oil Charts
On the left is a 1min intraday chart and on the right is a daily chart. On Friday crude was well behaved....lots of money on the table. Makes up for a choppy day on Thursday!
The daily chart i showed an expanding wedge. I think crude will push upward to test the $92.00 level.

This is an excellent question!
I use breakouts for entries to and i definately think scaling in and out is the way to go.
Esspeccially if you handle large volumes. When done correctly, and with the correct money management, it has the potential to make your equity curve MUCH smoother:!:
