    The clue is in the name....it's a bet,aka wager,gamble etc and outside all U.K. Tax liability no matter if you do it full time or not,as long as you're a private individual and not a company.

    Looks a good bet accdg to the weekly chart...after a big downdraft like we just had on Friday I will be looking to sell the rips until around 3.40pm then buy the dips.i will be observing reversal times around 08.40,11.30,2pm,3.40(big one),6.30 and last one 7.40 until 5 min after bond market close.

    If u r spread betting I would say indeed that anything less than 15 min time frame is tricky. I trade Dow & ftse using 15 min green/red candlesticks and do OK(in conjunction with obvious S/R lines)i.e.at a strong S/R point see if the candlestick changes colour,and then go with it.

    i think that would depend on whether or not it will be your main source of income(is so then you would pay income tax i think) or if is not then CGT would come into play?? But anyway i think you need to get professional advice about this...
