Hi Priceman, First thing this morning I looked up cable and eur/usd daily movement, saw a nice head and shoulder formation, figured that the right shoulder could develope into an arm, that is down for a bit. Must read up on wasp's posts, see he wrote something of just going for price movement...

Nice call jonnyy40! I got up at 10am (CET), thought it looked toppish and went short, popping out when I had a few nice pips, went short again at the (minor) reversals. +53 pips so far... PS: For those who missed me, just back from vacation. 4 weeks of South American jungle, where I sprained...

Morning everybody! No news this morning, other than the bomb scare (curses!), looking for a sideways day. I wonder if, after the longest while, we'll finally get to see a Big Ben again... French June trade deficit bigger than expect, Danish CPI pretty much flat with last year's. Currently...

And back to where it all started... No oomph at all. Calling it a day.

Well, cable's been dead all day long, until 8.15: zoom up: +15 (at 10pips spread), zoom down: another 15pips, yo-yo'ing about: +6 and +4 pips at 5pips spread. Can't complain, my daily goal has been met and now I have this odd craving for a cold beer ;)

Aye, quite possible, it's only 90 pips away. If there's nothing major going down news-wise favouring the dollar or utterly discrediting eur or gbp...

I don't do predictions on NFP days. I scalp the sideways run-up to it, then go with the flow, then scalp the rest of the sideways into the weekend. In hindsight my question was a bit silly: 9012 (or thereabouts) was the high for the year (May 17).

Gutfeel: negative It's NFP Friday, the big fireworks have subsided. I figure it'll behave like the other NFPs I've seen: sideways for the rest of the day.

spread's down to 5 pips now. Too bad I can't trade the follow-through. Daily grind's a-beckening.

In at 8950, out at 9000. :D 10pips spread at Oanda. Payrolls up less than expected, so dollar-negative, unemployment overall rises from 4.6 to 4.8% (highest since February). My, what a headline!
