well considering the early drop it recovered well.. even starting to form a bit of a bullish V on a line chart

I watched the shadowtrader video for this week and he put a valid point across as to why any drops may not retrace the whole fed spike (due to breadth etc on the rise).. so far it looks weak to me though , I guess if its to bounce it has to do so from round here or risk the retrace last weeks spike

on this thread theres a very familiar dax 4 hour chart and large Dax 10 quid long trade blotter capture from CMC the other night which was posted on another popular board.. I wonder who they belonged too? :rolleyes: :D

you could try livecharts.co.uk forums.. mainly index traders threads.. active ftse thread by hooya and dax and dow threads..

hi tawey I think you should find free data here but only in 1 minute/10 minute/1 hour timeframes.. not 15 minute scroll down to N225 Jap.. slect your time frame and amount of data you need in points (bars/days) hope that helps you for now.. http://www.livecharts.co.uk/historicaldata.php

you can get free live charts for Cash Dow, S&P, Amex,NYSE and Nasdaq here (plus Dax, Gold, Brent Oil and Forex) no stocks (yet) although there are plans for them... you have basic tools like drawing and custom indicators etc... no futures Im afraid but ok for free... times in 10 second ticks...

For IB.. Can you break down an example of how much a 1 contract round turn would cost me in commission and spread and how many pips I would have to be in profit before it is covered for the FTSE, INDU and YM..?.. I think I am reading your site incorrectly and baffling my self... Lee.
