Pulsar Capital and Patak Trading type prop firms

Good afternoon all, its been several months since my last post but I'm back and have a question. Does anyone know of any prop trading firms with a business model like Pulsar Capital and Patak Trading Partners LLC? By this I mean they don't require any capital contribution but will only hire you...

    Help with backtesting!!

Alright, alright. I'll check out Ninja Trader then. And apology accepted Xeno, I may be young but I am not new to trading. Worst comes to worst, I'll just have to suck it up and learn how to program.

    Help with backtesting!!

Trading won't work for me? I've been trading for years thank you. And not EVERY trader knows how to program, that's what freelancers are for. So forgive me for not wanting to learn how to program. And with the way technology is today, it's surprising that there isn't a piece of software that...

    Help with backtesting!!

Lol, thanks for the info but I'm not looking to make a fortune, just to backtest my set of rules. But I don't want to have a Bachelors in programming to do it. I just want input when to buy/sell, how much to buy sell and when to exit the position based on a certain methodology.

    Help with backtesting!!

Thanks to everyone for your input but none of those sites really helped. You either had to write the code or program something in order to backtest. I'm looking for something MUCH simpler. It probably doesn't exist so maybe I'm asking for too much.

    FOREX traders......have you tried this?

I'm lookin for a good forex broker and I can't seem to find one. All the reviews for EVERY broker seem mixed. So then I thought, wait a minue, all of these brokers claim to "subject to oversight" by some government regulating body but in reality, currency trading itself is not really...

I honestly cannot recommend that anyone develop, or follow up an interest in trading.

Interesting post. While I may have only traded for a few years, and I love the money it makes, trading does not consume me nor does it take over my social life. Actually, I spend a few hours every Sunday night analyzing the markets and placing pre-market orders. I barely look at my account...

    Grains trading system?

I'm looking to start trading commodities and am thinking of opening an account with Global Futures. Since Grains have the lowest day margins, at least with that particular broker, (and I don't have tens of thousands to trade with) I might as well start with grains and then move on to bigger...

    Help with backtesting!!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind using Strategy Runner if I was a TD Ameritrade client, but I use TradeKing and they don't have any sort of backtesting application. I guess I'll just have to pay someone who knows how to program to automate it for me in Seer and then backtest it that way. UGH!!!!

    Help with backtesting!!

Thanks for the link but it's not what I'm looking for. I don't know how to explain it without being too confusing. Um....most backtesting softwares want you to program the strategy first. I don't need to program the strategy. I just want to input the rules into the software, input the...

    Help with backtesting!!

The difference is that in order to use Strategy Runner from TD Ameritrade you have actually use TD Ameritrade as your broker, which I don't. That's why I don't want a broker backtesting software. No offense, but your post doesn't really help me find a backtest software/website.
