I emailed him with the same question because I found both sites and thought it was odd. Apparently ftsealerts.com is a new site focussing on the alerts service whereas the other site was the original blog that added on the alerts service last year.

I've read into a lot of these services and took the plunge to try FTSE Day Trading. Analysis, charts, alerts for IG Index FTSE trading a couple of weeks ago. I notice someone a few comments above said about ftse 100 club moving stop losses during trades, but what I like about the ftsealerts...

Is this just the calm before the storm? I would have thought that any uncertainty would lead to a sell off rather than everyone holding tight. Very little movement today at all, and the DOW was the same last night. I'm tempted to have a small short with a wide stop at 5950 because the longer...

I didn't think FXCM was too bad... but depositing and withdrawing funds takes a bloody long time and that was the reason I left. CityIndex was terrible - incredibly basic and really poor charts. I settled with IG Index, but as with all of them its not perfect.

What's the Cobra service? I've searched but can't find it in google

I use FTSE Day Trading. Analysis, charts, alerts for IG Index FTSE trading but it's unfortunately a paid service. Only 19.99 p/m though so not too bad. There's a live chat room with about 20-30 people in each day and everyone discusses the ftse which is quite useful for getting second opinions...

I don't know how he can evaluate performance without signing up (apart from looking at the results page which is updated regularly). The only way you can really judge is to sign up and copy the trades to see how you get on. He does provide stops and targets as part of the calls i.e. a text says...

I've been searching google to see if I can find a service that will alert me to trends or potential moves in the FTSE as I don't have the whole day to devote to trading, plus I'm still learning chart analysis. Does anyone have a site they would recommend? Or are there any to steer well clear of?
