Ok, since you get stopped out (as written in your post), I assume you don't put automatic trailing stop. That's my question.

IMO, its only confirmed true when 2 or 3 candles after the breakout makes higher highs ( or stays on top of the break )

The general rule is the higher the time frame , the better it is you see the whole picture. I would guess its a matter of preference and there are certainly no harm in viewing these time frames as well.
