Hi Mick The answer is. There isn't much. I think the difference is, with spreads treading you're looking to make money purely on the difference in price. With pair trading your looking to make on both sides of the trade. That's how I see it anyway.

Hi Bigballs I wouldn't class Soybeans v Cattle as a spread. I don't think they're related enough. The way I see it is "If another BSE scare happened, would it effect Soybeans greatly". I would say not. These are just my thoughts
