Do any of you trade EURGBP? I shorted it this morning but have not seen much traffic on the pair in the forex forum outside of short thread started recently. Do you prefer GBPUSD because it is more liquid?

I decided to get short EURGBP at .77297. I surprised that many people don't trade the pair.

So true. They have to be crafting the language for a press release first thing in the morning Tokyo Time.

Reuters is reporting the G7 participates "wish" the UK stays in the EU but did not talk about a "Plan B" which makes me feel all 7 nations see a "stay" vote grabbing a majority of votes.2

Headlines are starting to flow from Sendai, Japan - host of the 42nd G-7 meetings. The US and Japan have taken center stage but nothing out of the ordinary has been said.

I'm staying long USDJPY. As I said earlier this week the BOJ is going to be adding liquidity not taking it away. I think today's announcement by the BOJ late in North American trading was a smoke screen to keep the discourse during the G7 polite.

Now the Nikkei is reporting that the BOJ will be preparing to exit from easing with reserves. I think this is all posturing before the G7.

It is hard to believe that we are less then a week away from the G7 meetings and I've seen very little in the way of opinion on what the results will be from it. I'm long USDJPY and EURJPY and feel that the Japanese will weaken its currency within a few weeks of next Friday. I don't see how...
