EA's and Automated Trading

Seeing as its Christmas, i thought i'd take to opportunity to give you all a present::clap:

Expert Advisor Builder for MetaTrader 4

Apparantly it lets you create your own EA's, but as of yet ive been struggling to get what i want. I don't know if it's because the tool is rubbish or i am! It would be great if some programmers on here could check it out and see what quality of code it produces.

As I've given you something, i want to take something as well

Am i right in understanding i can import an EA into my MT4 platform which will run my trading for me 24 hours a day? With no input from me, except my wallet?

If you think you can knock up an EA that easily then you will be disappointed. I have worked on mine for 3 years. I am about where I want it to be - but it still takes only about 30% of the entries I would take manually.

Yes it does run 24hrs - but you will need to do a lot more than just provide the wallet.

Yes this is correct. once you have uploaded you EA, you will find it in the navigator window of metatrader. just drag it on the chart of your pair and set up a few variables if applicable to your EA and live the rest to the robot. it will trade during the times you have selected or 24 hours if no selection was made.
