Triangle pattern finder

Hello,
Does TradeStation have a triangle pattern finder either built in or a formula that someone has added? I use MultiCharts and am looking for such a formula. I trade CDN stocks and want to use a pattern finder not to select the trade but to eliminate those stocks that don't have any triangles forming in them. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your information. I am trying to find a software package that provides scanning for TRIANGLES and Rectangles or Channels for CDN stocks, not an easy feat....lol.

I am not a pattern trader myself, so I don't focus upon those sorts of things, but if I can think of some software that provides scanning for such then I will report back my findings.

Thank you Greg, I appreciate it. I have come across something called Blocks by Worden and some of the people there have triangle scans. Hopefully they will help and I can finally get on with my trading.

Try TCScan+
But you have to use TC2007 which you can dowload for free at Worden.com.
You can nicely set your criteria.

Go to Insert > showme

There is a showme indicator called pennant breakout

This ShowMe will draw each pennant formation identified, and also plot the up or down breakout from each pennant, whichever comes first, if it occurs within BarsPast bars of the completion of the pennant. Pennant extensions for the BarsPast bars are plotted as points. The breakouts are plotted as cross ShowMe's.

This is available in TS8.3, but I don't know about TS2ki, if that is the version you use
