How much do platforms cost to brokers ?

Hello all , i am doing a school project related with an investment intermediary that offers an equity/fixed income trading platform and i need to know approximately how much does an electronic trading platform cost or approximately how much commission is charged in case of white labeling ?

I just need a general number and i cant find anything, i even contacted some firms that sell platforms like this, but they do not want to disclose such an information to a student like me

I would appreciate any suggestions related with the costs of such software and i am sorry if it is a bit off topic. Thank you.

you may want to start with google "mt4 license cost", fast search seem 100,000 full license cost and monthly maintenence is US$ 1,500, and for white label could cost less. if you willing to other platform such ctrader better to contact their official website, and I believe it will cost you more

Yes i found about mt4 as well, but i need more particularly the commission that the potential broker would pay in case of white labeling ( is it like a given percentage of every transaction and how much would it be) and the cost of a platform like eSignal or Saxo`s platform

SO are you referring to A) becoming an Introductory broker for a PROPER regulated Equity broker OR B) OTC broker offering Non Exchange traded products like CFD, etc on Equity and FX etc

If it is B) with FX only then try a technology provider like Boston Technology.. they used to offer Clearing services also
Another are is IB of an Futures merchant
or an IB of an IB in futures space for example Global Futures is an IB of many FCMs and you could become an IB of of Global!

I am referring to A) as my research is related with a regulated intermediary on a stock exchange. More precisely, the platform they offer is used for equity/fixed income trading on that exchange and could be customized for other exchanges, so i need to know a general number that these types of online platforms are sold for or the commission in case of white label deal.
