i read its good practice to keep a journal of trades and reasons why, so i guess this will be my place to journal it all :!:

i only just started so if you see me doing something wrong please let me know

here is a xauusd short trade i already took at 903

12 ema is turned down, and below 24 ema

price makes head and shoulders pattern
price breaks below pivotal point, closes below it

rsi makes head and shoulders pattern
rsi breaks trendline, pulls back to it from below

macd h ticks down
macd fast line below slow line

trendline breaking, looks to close below it or near it as well
price gapped down at opening
double top pattern in price, lower volume on second peak

rsi breaks its trendline
rsi maeks double top
rsi falling below its centerline

macd fast line falls below slow line
macd h ticks down
macd h bearish divergence

12 ema turnnig down
24 ema flattens

price is near support so will exit if it bounces away, otherwise will hold through it

this set of patterns si showing up in a lot of stocks so looks like there may be decline overall imo

Looks like your off to a very good start, first two trades look good.
However some advice on the second trade, the trendline is headed up so you probably want to be going long, and if your trying to play the breakout, only enter once its closed before the trend line. You don't want to 'hold through it'. You want to be in when its proves itself.

yes very true i think i entered too early, but today it has broken below and closed below the uptrendline so a lucky escape for me there i guess haha:clover:
but, the only way to learn is by doing in my opinion, just as long as you learn from mistakes :smart:
