short at yellow arrow @1261.50, stopped out with Trail at white arrow @ 1256.5 for 5 full points
New Stop Entries set, Long @1263.50, Short @ 1251

(breakthru of PP target1 Mid point of R1-PP; target2 R1)
(breakdown at Midpoint between PP & S1, target S1)

I went for a 6 pointer off the daily PP at sell limit 1262.75. It worked, but I didn't get filled!
Still, learning something off you.

I think it's a common situation - people trying to catch the exact turn to maximise the move; but I prefer to give up a point or so in order to confirm the momentum etc.
I think you already understand the ploy to get the meat in the middle and leave the crusts - maybe just make your slices of ham a wee bit thinner ?

actually, if Short is triggered, target would be a little bit in front of S1 @ 1242, 'cos of the Weekly Pivot at 1241.42 - doesn't do to try to fight the weekly for the sake of a couple of points

resting orders cancelled.
Short now at 1258,
stops 1261, 1262 & 1263
targets 1250, 1245 & 1242

targets not hit, so flattened for +2.5 full points (x 9 contracts)
surprised actually, 'cos I thought the weekly pivot at 1241 or so would act as a magnet for the end of the week ..ah well
