I'm part of a team in charge of doing the due diligence on FX and Futures traders for a $3B+ hedge fund company in the US.

We're looking for a wide variety of forex (no arbitrage or news traders) and futures traders with verifiable statements. Plese PM me only if you have live statements. Demo statements don't count.

You must complete our due diligence questionnaire and meet other requirements that will be provided after the initial discussions.

Traders that are accepted get to trade a test account for the first 15 to 45 days, whose size depends on a trader's experience and results. If they perform within historical norms, they get additional allocations every month until either a substantial amount of capital is allocated or they reach a saturation point in terms of liquidity.

If interested, please PM email address and a bit of information about the type of trading you do, lenght of real track record, experience, and results.

I think maybe you ought to take a snook at my good buddy Augustus T. McCrae - Texas Ranger & successful Currency Speculator.

He posts on here under the nick: Depth Trade

He maintains there are no real FX entities out there, you're all diverting clients funding & muscling in on the real estate & property markets.

He's the ONLY individual or firm active in the currenct markets on this or any other public forum.

He's your man if you're seeking a hotshot currency player.

We're also looking for futures traders; not just FX guys.

Thank you for all the inquiries I've gotten via PM and email. Please note that we need statements that show a trader's performance and we need to somehow verify that those statements are genuine. Demo statements are not accepted.
 
How about equities? We're a 2 man team that traded a separate acct for a large NY hedge fund, but trade equities (85%) and futures/forex (15%). Have verifiable 3 yr track record of top tier risk adjusted returns.

We're currently trading a small fund comprised primarily of our own capital, but are looking for proprietary capital to trade.

The hedge fund company does have an equities mutual fund, even though I really don't handle equities guys. Anyway, anything is possible if the talent is there. Can you send me the 3-yr verifiable stuff or email me your Skype ID for us to chat further?

Do you mix equities and futures/forex in the fund?

If you remove the futures and forex stuff from the equities how would that look?

How the search going? Have you found any traders?

It's been a year later and I'm still here trading live, are you guys going to hire me or what?

Depth Trade, unless verifiable statements can be provided, we can't move forward. I know we discussed the possibility of statements being faked (and we've had traders provide us with fake statements in the past), but it is just one more piece of information that is an essential [and normal] part of the due diligence process. There are ways to verify if statements are fake or not and we've never had a problem verfying it.

If you ever change your position on providing statements in the future, please let me know; if not, there's nothing I can do.

I wish you the best regardless of what you decide to do.

Your not going to be able to find a trader, your completely blind and haven't the slightest idea what's going on or what to look for.

I am the only one with live verifiable trades, but your so insecure you don't even trust your own judgement, you need a 3rd person to verify and TELL you what to do.


Your profile picture tells everything, we know who wears the pants in that family.

You contact me when your tired of being lead around, you contact me when your man enough to make a grown up decision.

I am a bit curious here Depth Trade.
Why do you want to be hired by these people?
I might not make a massive amount of money from trading but make enough to never want to give up the the freedom and joy of not working for anyone.
Judging from your Posts and comments you do not need to be employed so why?

Tf, want to apologize for the last comment, it probably sounds a bit unprofessional.

I was ticked off a bit that you hung up the phone on me the last time I called you. After the fact that I was calling, trying to advise you on fraudulent statements.

Who know's, maybe the phone just disconnected.

I hadn't checked this thread in a while. Almost pissed in pants laughing when I read this. My male ego is not really affected by letting my wife wear the pants, especially if it leads to hot, steamy sex from a Cuban babe every night. Ha. Ha. Your third grade comments are hilarious though. You're right, Sweepy. This is not for everyone; especially not for very short term traders who are not really scalable and won't really benefit from additional capital (e.g., aggressive scalpers). A trader whose style is more scalable and does not mind to trade a much larger capital base, might find this attractive.

The argument between managing OPM or trading your own account is as old as mankind. There's no one-size-fits-all solution for every single trader.

TF, I more than meet your requirements to trade an account. If not that, you should atleast be willing to let me trade a small amount of money to test me out. Based on the lone fact that I have the only trading thread on any forum.

You can't expect people to just send statements to you. You have yet to prove yourself, I have.

We don't know if you can even afford a 3$ happy meal, let alone 3bln.

We know I can trade.

If your serious about being in this market you'll contact me and work within my parameters of experience, not form your preconceived sterotyping of a trader.

No offence, but you don't know enough about this market to be making dictations of how things will play out.

I do and can.

The only one being tested here is you. If you are the man you think you are, you'll be able to read this, laugh and contact me. If not, your at a lower tier than you thought and you'll have many lessons ahead of you.

DT; you are free to believe whatever you want about what makes a great trader or not. When we spoke on the phone, you explained the reason you didn't want to provide statements was because they could be faked. I agreed with you about the "faked" part, but mentioned that it is still required by any institution looking to work with a trader whose track record is not audited. Now you are saying that you did not provide the statements because I have to "prove myself" first. That's even funnier than the one about my wife wearing the pants in our house. :D
