Hi,

Can any one provide me with any information on ADG Capital Management?

Any idea of the 30mt math test they conduct?

I was just looking at their website and thinking of applying for a junior position. Did you have any interviews or assessments with them? What did you think of the company? How do they pay?

Hi,

As far as I could tell there are market makers/interbank brokers. There was a 30mt test for the position of trading clerk consisting of A level math questions, followed by an interview. They seemed nice people which reinforced by the fact that I saw a russel terrier running around.

Thanks for the reply Omrudra. I have applied to them and am awaiting a reply. How did you get on with the test and interview? My mental arithmatic is reasonably good as is my ability to interpret and analyse graphs and data. however, as i only did AS Maths at school and have not used most of it since I am pretty rusty at some of the more advanced pure maths and statistics.

PS. ft338 would have been nice if you could have pointed me to the relevant thread. I am clearly capable of searching this website since I commented on a thread on ADG capital started by Omrudra...it wasnt out of laziness that I was asking those questions. I have searched for adg, adg capital, adgcapital etc...but have found v little. If you still maintain there is a lot of info on this site i would appreciate it if you would point me towards it. Thanks
 
Hi,

I believe I did the interview really well but the maths exam was of subjects I was very rusty abt , some calculus, probability etc nothing to do with speed. I did not get the job no surprise there coz i really screwed the test up.Wasnt disappointed coz i did not really like the job profile.

Hi,

It was abt 4 months ago, so really do not remember. There was some options volatility questions, i think, I THINK, trigonometry, calculus,,some betting question , graphs , eg draw the graph of y=bx etc. Sorry I could not be more helpful. A level maths questions. The interview had financial market and news questions.

When you are talking about Financial is it more like what levelare these index's etc or is it more to do with economics and fundermentals
