Technical Analysis Tools

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can advise as to the best books/ courses out there to get to grips with technical analysis. I am interested in using candlesticks and moving averages to learn to trade.
My only experience in the tradding world is 4 weeks work experience at a Fx desk.
It has wet my apetite, and I want to start doing this on my own account- just need a push in the right direction.

Training literature vendor (e.g courses / spreadbetting guides / eBooks) Rhody Trader's Trading Profile
For general technical analysis John Murphy's book is considered the best text. Steve Nison is the guy who introduced candles to the West. Any writings by either gentlemen will serve you well.

If you are inclined toward system trading then I'd say yes. I wrote a review of Way of the Turtle a while back which you may find helps you make a decision on whether to get it or not.

"Getting Started in Technical Analysis" by Jack Schwager gives a good overview of basic concepts.
