I wasn't watching t2w much, and missed your posts. I regret this, and appreciate your efforts. It's a shame the mods didn't do their job more effectively.

Best of luck with your trading.

OK, no probs:

1. From my quick scan, there was a lot of back and forth between cj someone (2 alias's) and Marcus. This extended to PMs/emails. Maybe others, I didn't check. Letting things become-and stay-personal is ill advised for public boards.

2. I've frequented other boards, and good humour, good knowledge, and decent manners combined with firm moderators is essential. People should know the rules, and be forced to obey them. Mods shouldn't hesitate to suspend/ban posters immediately-not wait a few weeks, or whatever....(not assuming I am 100% correct on this point). Creating a community spirit is important. I've seen boards fail or succeed (due to smart moderators and dedicated contributors). It's a busy task, and traders don't have much time as it is...

At the end of the day, a forum can't force anyone to stay and continue to contribute. Posters come and go-but this place is well designed and interesting, and more could be done to focus it and make it welcoming. MM don't leave, eh!

I don't like overly PC. Direct, fun and positive.

Thanks high risk that would explain his decision to no longer post, I wasn't aware mr marcus had come in for some personal attacks, a great shame after he had taken the time to post such in depth analysis

I had seen some directed at another member but that was "fair game" after all if your a first year dont wear the brightest coat in the playground

But at the top Marcus says he`s gonna post his analysis for the last time on here today. Was that before his decision not to post anymore then?

It would be a real shame though if he didn`t come back at all, disputes are good for everyone but you can understand why he's thought s0d this when people start slagging him personally

Thanks to Mark

I agree - it's a real shame that Mark feels the need to go. His contribution to this Barjon's thread and all the others has been extremely valuable and informative. I know from my own postings on the Wot next threads how much time it takes to write these things up.

I hope that these threads may continue, but I would quite understand if Mark doesn't want to contribute further.

sorry but i am totally lost ..

apart from drawing lines on historical charts and saying due to +/- volume this has happened to the stock - maybe i have missed that you seem to be reading us a historical chart - its like reading a book and talking about it - but if you could have said this is what is goin to happen then i would applaud that ..

You obviously missed the wot happened next threads, so what you see here is out of context. Mark has kindly given everyone a brief second chance to see his analyses where he did indeed say what was going to happen (to some 3 months into the future) with pretty unerring accuracy.

good trading

Cheers Markj for all your hard work and market insights. For me, your analyses prove conclusively something that has been disputed for a very long time - the value and significance of charts. The most extreme hard line fundamentalist would have a tough time arguing that charts are of little or no use when presented with your 'Wot Happenned Next' commentaries. Ditto for those that believe that price action is totally random. Your efforts are an inspiration to us all. Having said that, I'm dismayed to read your opening post to this thread in which you refer to 'events behind the scenes' which have prompted you to remove your posts and to withdraw from T2W. It's a shame that the majority of members who value your input greatly will suffer at the hands of a small minority - who are motivated by who knows what. Fear and envy that they can't do what you can do? Crazy.
Tim.

Now I'm simply NOT going to let even the smallest chance of things degenerating again. This thread has a limited life and it's sole purpose is to give people a second chance to see mark's analyses - nothing else.

Apologies to charlie - please repeat your suggestion on the next wot happened next thread if there is one or open a thread of your own.

Apologies to socrates - your post not now relevant after first deletion.

Apologies to don_h - edited your post to exclude reference to deleted post

Apologies to tmsk - ditto

Hope you all understand my somewhat draconian stance. Thanks

unfortunately had to go out for an hour or so and just back - sorry, again, but another tranche had to go.

If you do the calculations correctly, you can fire off an artillery shell and it goes where you expect. But market prices often go in the exact opposite direction, no matter how well you do the numbers. It is easier to send a spaceship to the moon than it is to win an argument with your spouse or figure out which way stocks are headed.Do the opposite of everyone else and it will serve you well

Thank you for your advice which I am sure is well intended.

However as you can see my artillery skills are second to none.

Also I frequently do the opposite to what everyone else does but for reasons not of contadiction, but for other very solid and well proven reasons .

Thank you again for everything but I assure you I can well manage and do not need any help or advice from anyone.

And a Good Afternoon to you too.

mm.........i got it all......thanks......lots of studying ahead........will enjoy every second......
