Can anyone help please?

Attached is a screenshot of part of "My Computer"

None of the "Removable Disks" actually exist.

Anyone know how to get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

I take it you don't have anything like a card reader plugged in via USB?

No, I have a USB external hard drive and a couple of USB memory 'sticks' but none are plugged in.

I have something similar- different letters. I have always put up with them. Is there something that I should worry about?

Do you have a new hardware device such as a printer which has memory card slots? Mp3 player, digicam, card reader....

Otherwise, try going into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and click on Computer Management.

Right click on the nonexistant drives, and see if you can remove their drive letter through one of the options.

Well done Bramble - all gone.

Thanks all
