Is it just me getting this?

If I go to improved readability its fine but in standard layout it all looks a tad bizarre?!

I thought T2W had been hit by a virus.

Can we have the old one back please?!

I prefer the old format. With this new one there's not enough visual separation between posts in a thread - you have to look harder to see where each post starts and ends.

Folks, this is not a change to the site. we do have a complete rebuild in the offing but it will be nothing like this - must be some kind of glitch with the CSS - I'll get it looked into this morning.

Hi all
views fine on my old windows 98 laptop :) so until its fixed dig up your old fossil and it all looks great and as it should

cheers

Don

this white background is such a glare and got my eyes really watery.. pls change back to what it was.. or at least use a proper contrast background.

thanks,..

hi guys

not sure if rossored managed a fix.

if you still have problems go to user cp (top left) choose "edit options" and scroll down to the last one "forum skin". choose "use forum default" and if that doesn't work try "improved readability style"

Hoorah. It works! The world of T2W returns to normality. The whiter than white look didn't really suit... :cheesy:

Just done what you said though the link and T2W is now back normal.

Thanks

For anyone still experiencing problems, hopefully this will be resolved today. It should be a quick fix but I was unable to do anything yesterday.

As part of our on-going process to speed up the website we moved the css stylesheet and static images to the new second server. The idea is to take the load off our main server, and share it between the two - thereby making everything run a bit quicker.

It seems that during this process some peoples browsers weren't picking up the stylesheet on the new server, and therefore everything looked a bit, well, ... crappy! Hopefully everyone is now viewing the site as it should be in tasteful tones of blue. :D

Why the background white? It's not comfortable to eyes at all. The old format was much better.

It's not - please read this thread in it's entirety! Is anyone else still having problems viewing the site. It should look no different to the way it was before. If you are having problems most likely it's because you need to clear your cache and temporary internet files - if you're okay to do that.

Sharky,

I clean my system every night and just switched back to the normal view (cache and internet files etc)and its still the same.

agree with wasp still not quite fixed yet

If I follow barjons advice that fixes it but if I use the quick style chooser at the bottom it all goes pete tong again

Can anyone who's having problems viewing the site correctly - send me a copy of the html for the page that's looks weird. In IE, if you do View->Source and then save the text file and send it to [email protected] it will help me to figure out what's going on. Also let me know if you've tried clearing your cache, and temporary internet files.
