Using Internet Explorer 9 (64-bit version) started getting problem with placeholders as shown in attached picture. Have re-installed Flash, Java and permitted pop-ups to no avail. Can't see anything to tweak in T2W user settings. All ok on every other site.

Any suggestions? (need to retain IE9 for other reasons).

moved this to feedback eric - seems to be a few probs for ie users atm

you're right, it's gone pear shaped again. that'll be the meddling kids in the t2w engine room. try removing the t2w entry in the compatibilty manager thingy, just tried it, works for me again now.

Maybe create an EA that will automatically calculate optimum settings and enter the new settings based on the new IE9_compatibility indicator?

so long as the ea has data feed direct from the t2w techs, we'll be then good to go.

but my coding skills are rubbish mate, care to knock one up (y)

ps don't forget the 64 bit version for eric :D

To the mods:

A long standing problem with the reading of posts through the "Replies" box did get solved, on advice by LM ie, the tools box, but this has gone wrong again.

This is a useful facility and It is a pity that it does not work.

did you try post 7 mate? works ok, someone maybe must have fixed the issue, but didn't report to the thread. you need to turn off the compatibility thingy for t2w, in the tools menu. thinking about it some more, eric had compatibility switched on, so eric, turn it off for t2w, and you split :)

No, mate, mine's not working. Have you got yours going, BTW?

All back to normal for me now -- haven't touched anything! Personally, I blame the bankers and the last Labour government.;)

No, but it's a beautiful day out, to-day, so that's where we are going.

Something wrong, somewhere, for sure.

Thanks for reporting the issue. We think we've fixed it now, anyone who had the problem please can you confirm it's now resolved, cheers!

Sorry, Sharky, but my problem is still there. You know what mine is, don't you?

When I press the "replies" and get the names in the box, pressing the number of posts they have made on that thread, I should be able to read those posts. I get the "Sorry, no matches" box, instead.

I've checked the tools and compatability and T2W is listed in there, ITH.

I see... hmm. In that case I'll ask the techies to take another look. Thanks for letting me know.
