Where to post quick questions

This site contains hundreds of extremely useful, educational threads that I am steadily ploughing through. However, sometimes I want to ask a simple question not covered in an existing thread, that may only warrant one reply and that may only be useful to me in any case. I'm usually put off starting a new thread for fear of diluting the longer, more valuable ones - each of my little questions would remain in the database, outliving their usefulness and cluttering up the search results forever. Like this one.

Where's the best place to ask small, one-off questions that don't need archiving alongside the 'real' stuff? Not all would be beginners' questions so First Steps may not be appropriate. A 'Quick & Dirty Questions' forum would be ideal. Does that make sense?

As wheezergeezer suggests, the General Trading forum will probably be the best place to post. Better still if you can find a particular thread that already discusses the subject matter of the point you raise, it may be preferable to simply continue the thread.
