Anyone trade WTI and have some good sights for analysis?
Seems a very volatile stock.

Are you sure you mean stock? The ticker symbol WTI on the London Stock Exchange is Weatherly Intl which is a miner. All the mining stocks are very volatile, take a look at VED and XTA.

The symbol WTI is also used for US crude oil (West Texas crude) and thats no pussycat either.

Yeah, West Texas crude, sorry.
Just looking at a method on it with bolly bands - very volatile though.

I agree with GammaJammer.
It does trend well and respects round numbers but you need to learn what moves it (dollar, indices, speculative interest in commodities, etc).
Rewarding if you do the work.

I agree but it is possible to view price action on the shorter term charts in conjunction with the overall trend. ?

If you went lower than the 5min chart I think you would get raped, although a t2winner Spanish89 did OK for a while there.
I take trend from the daily and then entries off the 4hr/1hr. Fib levels and trendlines are well respected in crude.
It's pit traded, so I never trade it when the pit is closed, its illiquid and not so rational.

Presumably, that's 4pm new york time?
Some of the Daily charts show some good candle patterns as well.
I'll have a look at fibs on the 4hr

No it starts earlier and closes earlier than that - 2:30 NY time

Can USD/CAD help as a leading indicator to WTI?
inversely...ie USD?CAD moving up, oil moving down
