The way which is likely to take the least amount of time is to look at the performance of sector indices. S&P has a bunch of them, and I'm sure you can find others as well.

actually IF you got lots of EXTRA cash on hand...u might want to take some high risk and invest the LOW price stock.....especially banking.

Agree - I buying uk bank stocks heavily as a medium term investment.
