What are some hot stocks under 10$ ?

Hi artyzipp,

CYB might be worth a look if you're insistent on a stock under $10.

It's not one I would get involved in personally as volume can sometimes be thinner than I would like in this stock, but it is a stock that is leading its industry sector.

Looking at the chart, the price could be in for a slight pullback.

Thanks

Hi arty,

I also have to ask the question as to what attracts you to stocks under $10 ?

If you are bargain hunting - be careful.

These stocks are often cheap for good reason and I would be wary of "bottom fishing."

Thanks

I'd only ad to watch out for bankruptcy and delisting. As I was once advised, it is sometimes to lookup the companies headquarters, and make sure it exists.

Don't try this at home.....

Genesis Microchip @ 1081

I echo all the cautionary comments made by other traders earlier. There is mega risk attached to trading smaller cap stocks. However, here is one worth a look over the coming weeks. Genesis Micro is one of those stocks you which tends to trade in a range about $10-$20. In periods of exhuberance it can go to up to 22/23 when the market is very bearish it can go sub $6. During the dark days of 2002 it hit 564.

Now my thesis is we are in a general bull market and the stock has recently hit a 52w low at around 940 so should the bull market continue then this should recover nicely. Consequently, around $11 could be just the beginning of a long term upwave. Intel another chipstock seems to be finding it's feet and augurs well for the sector - hopefully.

Downside for medium term players is clear at 940 and ultimately down to 7 then 6 .......... But if that happens then there is likely something serious going on in the tech sector - and there for better trading opps.

THIS IS A LONG TERM PLAY (multi-month) - despite the potential for sharp gains near-medium term.

"Anybody knows any hot stocks under $10?"

On an intra day basis there are usually reasonable candidates to find most days.
Have a look at BBC which ranged between $5.29 and $3.93 (volume 3.5m) y'day and also FRG ranged $9.13 to $8.04 (volume 1.8m).
Both these stocks were highly liquid and easily readable on simple TA - you don't even need micro-analysis skills with them.
Go for the RIGHT moving stocks and there is money to be made.
Keep away from the ones which are highly volatile intra-candle and position size correctly - and manage the position actively locking in partial profits when appropriate.
It really isn't hard. Method, method, method.

My last post above was an hour and a half BEFORE market open.
BBC produced a trend move of 44c in the first 18 minutes.
FRG produced a trend move of 51c in the first 11 minutes.

I personally didn't trade those moves as I was busy making 72c out of INTU at the time.
As I said, it really isn't hard. Method, method, method.

Talking of hot stocks, anyone trade NMX? yesterday on the IPO. Jesus H Christ!!!!
Opened at 120, high of 152 and closed at 132.99.
One trader made $11,000 on 400 shares.

Gotta be scalp of the year!

Good stuff, Pitbull :)

I alerted my people to EFUT on Tuesday pre-market and AMAG pre-market on Friday. As you say, great movers :)

Re- my pre-market posts #9 and #10 on Friday about FRG and BBC, those stocks rose on the day by 3.68% and 9.13% respectively.....
It really isn't hard. Method, method, method.

Hi All,

Although I don't really like playing share tipster, if you made me look at stocks under $10, you could do a lot worse than look at ANAD at the moment.

An excellent company with strong earnings performance in a strong sector (currently).

Thanks
