SB Books?

Could anyone recommend useful books for SB beginners? Like outlining basic strategies etc.

This is my 2nd thread on the forums, hopefully it won't be ignored like the previous one...

Also it would be a good idea for the admins to set up FAQ threads answering basic questions. (The stickied threads are pretty useless in that regard.)

Sorry your majesty. Do you mean the one about "virtual accounts"? I didn't know what a virtual account was when it was at home so I didn't even read it. (I now see that it was asking about demo accounts, which is what people here tend to call them).

Are they? hmm...well, have you tried the "search" facility? There is a ton of stuff on here about this sort of thing if you bother to look.

Out of your 3 postings so far, two of them have been in the same, slightly dissatisfied tone as the above e.g. "please refrain from posting ....etc etc".

Admittedly this is a pretty wierd place (and getting wierder), but as a newcomer, you are not likely to endear yourself to the community by starting off with complaints about the site. Just being cruel to be kind here.

Hi 4tune, I know there are several large SB firms that offer free seminars in foreign languages. What is your native language? If it's a major european language chances are some seminars are available in your native language too.

I would stay away from those books - the authors all have some kind of referral deal with SB firms so they'll keep selling the firms in the books, rather than concentrating on real education. My opinion only.
