IG Index trading issues on IE7

Hi,

I really struggled to trade on IG last night using IE7, it locked up quite badly and a position I had in running was effectively out of control. I calledthem up however it took quite a while to get through, the help desk eventually answered and told me they had heard of no issues following this I couldn't get through to the actual dealer. This leads me to think that they actually did have issues (I'm not saying that IG can't be rusted but er.....) and were swamped with calls.

So did anyone else find that thre were problems with IG last night?

I quite often get an error message ping up when i'm on my laptop, i installed Firefix instead and it's worked fine for the last few days

not sure the issues were browser related, when so many indices went exponential (at approx 18.05) I reckon they couldn't, or wouldn't cope

I have been have problems with IG ticker for over a week. It is running too slowly and making trading almost impossible. I have experienced this problem before in the weeks during which there are big market moves. I have checked usual issues such as browser, cache, connection, etc. but nothing changes.

If anyone has had similar problems, please let me know.

Ig issues

I use firefox now as IE7 seemed to crash during trading.
The other problem I had was after pressing the deal ticket a delay would occur before trade appeared. I called and they said that I was being put through to a dealer instead of going throught the automated system execution.
After that call I had instant trade execution.

I think the problem is with java?

I had the same problem with CMC 2008

There is a new java Version 6 Update 12 maybe it helps to solve the problem, i just downloaded and updated it
