spread co

spread betting with no commission ?
So Dow is to sell 8500 with 8505 to buy with no commission.

With Broker
Dow is to sell 8502 with 8503 to buy with £3 commission

Dealing at anything over £3 per point one can see the benifits of dealing with a broker.

Tomtom - think he's referring to CFDs, not spread betting.

Wouldn't touch it. If they're not making money on commission, they'll take it off you some other way - widening prices, tipping stops etc. They'll try all the worst tricks in the book.

Looks like the guy in charge was at CMC in the days when they were still Deal4free; got to assume that they'll be trying the same on shenanigans.

Not one I'd try.

Please do try us. We run an honest and fair dealing desk, and also pride ourselves on excellent Customer Service.

Capital spreads offers half of the spread of spread co. Why would anyone want to trade with a frim charging double spread and ****ty platfrom.

I tried them!
when they offered 3 month ago up to £1000 refund if you make a £5000 deposit
I open a position on oil and lost £870
I contacted them and asked for refund they said according to terms & conditions I need to wait 3 month which I did.
On Monday I got my money back :)
I have to say that their customer service is one of the nicest I've talked to. The platform is great but! I won't use it because it is missing the option to move the stop loss into profit which I use a lot.
They told me that they will add it soon.
All in all you can trust them, but read the t&c before

As the financial spread betting and CFD trading grow in the UK more brokers will pop up.
Maybe they've had a slow start but if they use the feedback from the customers they are on a way to win more customers.

next u r going to say they have the best charting package.

Far from it. Some brokers offer tighter spread as well.
All I'm saying is that they have a potential to develop into something meanigful... there're lots and lots of spread betting and CFD brokers around and most of them never make it.

I totally agree that Spread Co still have a long way to go to catch up with CS and IG but if they build on the feedback and improve their platform they might become a decent player.

Only time will tell.

I'm in no way promoting or recommending SpreadCo, just expressing my own opinion.
I personally use CS, much cheaper.

Love CS - much cheaper & friendly interface too bad they don't have iPhone support

I think mobile trading is the main disadvantage of CapitalSpreads. Instead of getting so many white labels they should get mobile trading platform.
