SW London pub meet

TBH I don't think it's fair to discuss someone who won't be there to defend himself.

Who knows. Last time he didn't come because nobody gave him a lift. Maybe he's bought a Murcielago with his winnings and I will be eating my hat.

Ooh, get me. Murcielago. A supercar for the super rich. And a spanish name to boot.

1pm, 30th August.

Dress code: casual

Someone suggest a topic focus.

Being the only one who has confirmed so far...is anyone actually interested in turning up or am I gonna be there by myself listening to sad lonely songs.

Is anyone interested in learning from others or not??? and of course loads of drinks.

I dont mind travelling from the lower part of hampshire but if its a waste of time then you could imagine I'd feel a little pissed...and I'm not talking about the booze making me feel this way.

I'm giving it some thought. Will check out trains later to see whether I can get there easily or not. Would be interesting to have a few drinks with people that actually trade and show off my inexperience and lack of real knowledge:LOL:

Will post back later when I've checked the trains.

I will be there. It's about 10 minutes drive from my place. PM me and I'll give you my mobile number.

Well the train journey is straightforward enough so I'll check that I'm free when I get home. I'm a definite maybe:p

I know i would not have had much imput but i was really keen on clapham, when did it change?

This meet is this Saturday. If you do not know anyone who is turning up, send me a PM and I'll give you my mobile number. Experienced traders and beginners welcome.

I would suggest some others to confirm first.

All that are up for meeting please relpy here.

Thanks

Fair point; you're coming from quite a distance.

I dont mind the travel, I love a good drink and to be able to talk shop as well is always a bonus, however, its no fun if the group is too small or inexperienced otherwise it becomes a one way conversation. The brighton meeting we had was somewhat successful but like most that want to trade, disappear into the abys somewhere never to be heared of again.

The 3 others I met I have no contact with and am not sure of their trading status. I usually here from people that have made a buck or too so I can only ever assume they done their account or simply gave up, the later appears worse I believe but, each to there own.

I would suggest that we speak on skype first as we can assertain our trading history and style ect, this always shows our true colours. For anyone thats not prepared to download the aplication to be able to speak free of charge to others certainly does not seem willing to spend petrol money and time on a meeting where others may not turn up. I always bear in mind that 3,000 people want to turn up to any meeting but yet only a handle will arrive.
