my charts point to a support level @ 4200 .........so I will be short the market after reviewing the situation early in the morning trying to find the perfect entry!!

Although there seems to be a bit of resistance at 4300 with FTSE bouncing off it twice so worth taking profits at that region and allowing the bounce to occur before going short again?

any other theories welcome?

I will certainly be going long at 4200 for a nice little bounce, but you never know in this market as the variables can change drastically?

Negative bias til friday people unless something else rears its ugly head?

OK i have unwound my short positions............I am now neutral?

made my profits for the day
 
long 4280 , stops 4260 limmit 4315 for 35pts profit

Moved Stops to 4296 as now above 4300
 
slick move Tom TOm....I was tempted to do it myself but must adhere to my trading plan/??

buy at 4200
 
with a 3 min chart 10, 20 , 50 expodencial MA with 14,3,5 Stockastics & williams %R 14 .

This will work well on the Footsie Wallstreet M8 .

Now long 10 ptsabove 4300 short below .

What is your stratogy for today then ?
 
I'm neutral at present, but I favour the short side for now ............I don't want to loose my profits so will call it quits until the afternoon and take my cue from the Dow Jones(I opened position on Dow jones and closed for 50 point profit as it hit support level at 8775 so i'm a bit weary now)

I'm going to David lloyds for a work out now so i don't really want to be opening any positions.......

I shall post in the afternoon mate?

I coudn't resist opening another short on FTSE at 4320 after watching the oil price fall below $60 barrell........

FTSE heavily weighted by oil companines.....hence go short on oil and FTSE?

also Telecoms sector is pulling back after nice rise due to Vodafone gains, and the banking sector has been down all day?

only 1 point short though!! minimise risk!!
 
Tertles move slowly , but they live for 200yrs :)

I went short at 4938 on dax at 4911 taking some chips of the table .

going to gym and getting some lunch soon.
 
im at gym playing squash and couldn't sit still and resist accessing the computers there to see FTSE position.....My bloody Iphone wasnt working in the squash court????? aaarrrrrrrrr!!

see what trading can do to you...hehee!!

anyway i have closed my position on FTSE for £47 profit..........

thats it no more trading for today!! I have made my way over my profit for today and i try to never get greedy, my target is £200 per day?
 
Been long from 4304 on the cash ( down 14 pts now ) added to long at 4275 so at 4285 now even stevens no +/-

Sitting long with a view of holding for a few hours


At 13.30 London Time 4290 Still long holding.
