Equity Dealer Interview

Hi guys,

Got an interview coming up for position of Asian Equity Dealer with a small investment firm. Have MA in Economics, IMC and 3 years decent middle office work with both large investment firm and small Asian specialist hedge fund. 24 years old so hoping to get into front office before its too late.

Only really trade in FTSE 100 securities at the moment equity / CFD.

What sort of questions can I expect at the interview and what should I read up on?

Obvious ones are Asian markets (not been involved in them for roughly 2years now).

probably wht sort of contacts you have in the asian equity space.

a dealer is not a trader. A dealer is a sales guy, and in some firms a sales trader, so you will not be making markets nor takin propietary positions for the firm, you will be executing trades on behalf of clients.
