Tower Trading Group

Just have not got around to posting new website yet , but are based at 3rd floor , Tower 42 , 25 Old Broad St , London EC2N 1HQ

Why the name change ? And what are they like as a firm to trade with ?

They are one of the biggest in London with a lot of established traders. I have heard of a few traders there with massive limits, you do not get those without being good.

Had an interview with them. What it involves is a maths test, which is extremely hard calculations like 554 x 89 WITHOUT being allowed to write anything down of any sort on the paper (It all has to be in your head) in five minutes.

Then your shown two graphs of an equity, bond, etc/whatever and asked to work out whether it is going to go up or down. The correct answer for mine was 'neither' as the messages were mixed in the graph.

Finally a normal interview style question with why do you want to be a trader, times you have been under pressure, etc.

Any other questions pm me.

i was wondering whether someone could give some insight on their graduate training programme. How long after completing the training programme will you realistically be able to take a monthly salary, assuming they have a desk fee?

Do they trade mostly fixed income futures?

Hi everyone

Ive got an interview with the elite derivatives/tower trading company.

Its for a graduate positon, i called up and asked if theres any other assesments apart from the interview but they told me its just an interview no test or presenations etc.

From one post it was mentioned about reading graphs and calculating maths questions. My maths is good but im not sure i can do large calculation accuratley on the spot.

Given anyones experience how would you advise me to best prepeare for the interview.

My knowledge about the markets is good, but given its a trading position how much are you expected to know?

I would really appreciate any advice

Regards
