Watching live trading - FX Bootcamp etc

Hi everyone,

I'm sure that, like other things, this has already been asked and answered.

I'm OK with the theory behind the main indicators, chart patterns etc (not that I don't have LOTS to learn), but I'd like to watch traders as they build trade plans and explain the thinking process behind them.

It's not that I'm not looking for 'the holy grail', but more that I want to learn to build trade setups for myself by watching more experienced traders do it.

I know of FX Bootcamp doing this. Does anyone have any good/bad reviews they could provide on them. Also, are there any other similar products (for lack of a better word) that I could look into?

I've been emailing and asking heads of trading/dealing at some banks/brokerages to ghost out one of their traders for a couple of days, but no one's budged yet

Please let me know if you have any thoughts or advice.

Cheers,
fxg

Watching over someones shoulder is a very difficult issue and most traders will not agree to this. on another thread which I cant remember now we discussed the rationale and pros and cons of this.

I have no problem you watching a demo account over my shoulder but am very hesitant about anyone watching me do my real account.
I did a trial with xxxxxxxxx many years ago but was not impressed it was a bunch of guys shouting
"I am going to sell the dow when it reaches " and when it reaches close my position. At the end of the session was not sure whether a profit was made or not.

come join us on the gb/usd thread we don't call out trades but you get a general idea of whats happening.

Good luck !!

Thanks for replying Gamma. I take your point. I'll definitely join the thread. Cheers!

This is a terrible reply! What the heck does "xxxxxxxxx many years ago" have to do with FX Bootcamp today?

Do you even know the concept of FX Bootcamp? Do you know that Wayne McDonell is a CTA? Have you ever watched any of the Youtube videos?

FYI it is not "a bunch of guys shouting"

In fact, they are doing the exact 2 things that fxgreg said he wanted to do, which is

"I'd like to watch traders as they build trade plans and explain the thinking process behind them"

"I want to learn to build trade setups for myself by watching more experienced traders do it"
