for example if i was short the NZDUSD now (which i am ) for 5 days , how much would this cost?

You're 15 - you can't use IG anyway for 3 years.

Can't tell you how much it costs without knowing the size of the position anyway.

You said you were taking a year away from here.... You're not really 15 are you....

So you're not taking a year away from here yet? When does the year start? If you really are 15 then why are you on here? 15 year olds care about birds and vandalising things... You need to get that out of your system first.... You are Trader_Dante really aren't you.....

i took the year out to discover and learn price action, and along the way i have a few questions, i figured you guys could know the answers. i suppose not. heh heh, you don't know what i get up to , o lol, some things....i am 15!

TA your a fanny, get back to your sandpit.

ps. you could have found your answer easily if you just looked...

IG charge typically slightly less than a pip/point/tick, I understand. I think it's calculated as 0.01% of your total risk.

If you wanna hold for 5 days you are better off trading the future rather than daily cash. Despite the increased spread you'll be no worse off because you won't have to deal with rollover charges and it keeps your P/L intact.

Yep, depends on how long you typically hold for. Mind you, if you're swinging for several hundred pips, losing an extra 6 pips won't make that much difference.

won't make a difference as i prefer swing to intraday, just entered a possible 200 pip sell on NZD JPY....

lol, who the hell even trades that pair. What a waste of time. You should have gone for alpari btw - have fun on IG in 2 weeks.

lol,i'm on demo and not opening IG account yet. This trade won't last 2 weeks, as it happens i will find out by tomorrow whether to exit or not. by the way what ATR size would you recommend for swing trading 1-5 days?
