Hedgeing Libor or UK base rates

I am looking for ways to do this with spread betting. I am currently with IG and don't see a way to do this. Is there other SB providers who do allow direct SB on these items or is there a suitable proxy product (eg ETF)?

I think there will be others interested in this subject. if so please add comments or experiences.

You can do short sterling futures in IG, if you so desire.

Whats the mechanics? Sell short and stand-back? Or is there a way that'll max returns??

The mechanics depend on exactly what you're trying to achieve...
