but if you were paying for the training, how would you be sure you were going to get it?
and if you weren't, would you not be concerned that the trainer didn't seem to be making any money out of what they were teaching you?

Tca markets are cheaters
Hi,
I was one of the suckers who joined TCA Markets. I paid £3000 and after 4 months I was put on live trading for only 3 days!!!!
What they say is completely different from what they do once they have your money.
They will not put you LIVE unless you have 8 profit trading days out of 10 trading days!!! If you make 3 consecutive loss days, then you are out!! They move the goal post everytime I achieve the target!
Their mentoring is crap!!! they themselves dont know what they are doing. I was on the SIM for more than 3 months, but the mentors didnt help me at all. All useless guys.
Their advise was just have a feel of the market!!!
Dont join them or you will lose the money like me!! They are cheaters.... They have become bankrupt and changed name, but the director is the same! Google them and you will see.

Got a "wonderful oppotunity" by e-mail the other day from TCA Markets.
Anyone heard of them? I daresay this is another one for the bin

Why don't you post your P&Ls whilst you were with them so that we can judge you independently?
I do agree that you DO have to have a feel for the market. Technicals and fundamentals can take you to a very decent level, but you also need to have a feel for the market and have a feel for what's right and what's wrong. When you say to yourself "why is the schatz still sitting there?", that's when you know you're on your way.
Oh please. TCA have such an appalling reputation that the trader doesn't need to post his P&L!

TCA have such a sweet model. Get suckers to pay 3-4K knowing that 95% will fail and the 5% that succeed would have succeeded with or without TCA.

Here's my 2 pence worth...
Rather than paying them 3 -4k or however much it'll cost.. Why not make use of a DMA Sim offered by Trading Technologies or their affilates.. Be realistic when using the SIM and form a strategy that you can prove to be consistent..
Once you feel that you're ready to trade live, fund an account with the money you would have wasted with TCA ( including travel expenses and other costs) !!!!!
Doing it this way will mean that you wont be at the mercy of anybody keeping you on the sim, and also any profits you make are not split !
Not disputing that....
However, think how many idiots are taken on board and due to their own incompetence as a trader never have an up day and blame everyone else!?
I know plenty of traders that have come and gone who lose an entire months account in one stupid session and then blame the market, a runner, the weather, the wrong NFPs figure, anything but themselves.
