Who watched the budget?

I dont mind the guy too much, but politics winds me up period. So no I didnt watch it, I traded instead ;-)

Yeah but not as much as I hate Brown's face.... And Darling with those stupid f***ing eyebrows. Are there any likeable politicians out there?

I quite like Cameron, but would much perfer someone like Howard or Clarke in charge.

I would quite happily murder Gordon Brown and justify myself to his bereaved child.

I don't like Cameron, I think he's a damp squib. Too much like a Tory - Blair.

Hit the nail there... Like a non-charismatic blair who just cant cut the mustard when it comes to sounding like you have any clue what you're talking about and like you're not just talking smack

Yep - it's like the electorate is 180 degrees out of phase in the Style - Substance - Style - Substance cycle.

Cameron is all talk and no trousers. Get David Davis or William Hauge in there... and if you're calling in the Old Boys, get Portillo on the blower.

Hauge had a shot at the time when Style (and spin) was in vogue, rather than substance.

Substance is what we need now.

I suggest a new party... Joint leadership Galloway/Johnson lol.

They'd sort this sh*t out. Fight fire with fire.

Nobody has the substance to deal with this gecko. Nobody want to admit that the markets and banking - the very basis of our society - has grown to a point where nobody can manage it. It's going to do what it wants. Bet there is some f*cking AI somewhere doing this sh*t lol.

Galloway is too quick on the front foot, he's got "small party syndrome".

Boris, sure.

Galloway solves problems by smacking them straight away instead of talking. Quick decisions that havent been thought through well. Thats what you call a leader.

Johnston - Contemporary pseudo-aryan. Immigrants out of the country, just make sure trade is maintained. Thats where Galloway comes back in.

Does anyone else think Cameron is an absolute pr*ck and hate his face?

No way. Every signle thing that he said to darling and brown were true, you can't argue with that.

I thought it was brilliant to see them be put in their place and made a fool of. He showed them two up badly, I thought it was excellent.

But how they both sat there like that and took it I do not know.

What annoyed you so much then?

Anyone so long as they don't punish people who do well.

Why should anyone making £150k + have to pay 50% they should be glad people are being succesful and they're recieving 40% of it...greedy buggers... I don't think it will bring in much more becasue if you're earning £500k you can probably afford a good accountant to "reduce" your tax bill. (Aaron, you're chance to shine ;-))

Who watched the budget?
No way
Better things to do than watch a lying toad like him and his lord and master; no doubt they smiled their painful rictuses.
No, I'm about to finish trading so I'll check out what's happened on a news web site.
Probably absolutely zilch anyway.

This tax is mainly for bank staff IMO and to curb/drink from the whole bonus culture

CEO types recieve shares and pension etc in their remuneration packages so they wont really be affected too much, most millionaires make their money from capital gains - which has been reduced plus inheritance tax threshold increased and new reliefs mean people are a lot better off... enterprise... most businesses are (or will now) become limited companies and pay corp tax
