Carbon Trading help needed ?

Hi

I am looking to find my way through the confusing lingo and array of products in the Carbon markets. It seems the EU ETS is the most traded but how are they traded are they futures, options, OTC etc? and who trades them are they interbank via brokers, end user to banks, end user to end users is there even a need for brokers ?

Any help would be greatly appreicated. I have further questions if u got the time to help
