i made this thread to know how successfull traders can turn their trading into a business, make a firm etc.
i know you can start up funds like hedge funds, but type of companie can you turn your trading into. i doubt you could hire people who would do trading for you, while you sleep in your luxary bed at home or sit in the bahamas.
also some questions,
what company is that what gekko was running in the film wall street
what exactly is a trading firm.
are their any liecences or qualifications needed to start and run a prop firm, i understand the FSA is a pain in the backside.
