DC2000 - Walked on water for a few years with his trading calls, although his last spell here was less than impressive. Not heard from him since.

After 5 years, I felt it was time to move on.... I still think about the site and often wonder if I should venture back to see if my methods are still valid....Many things have changed in my life, brining much satisfaction with new challenges so any iminent return is unlikely.
It's truly rewarding to see the mebership is just huge... considering when I firat started out here there was no more than a handful....

You were GOD around here at a time I was still in (trading) nursery school! (I only started wearing long trousers this year.) Great to 'see' you! Although it's one helluva coincidence that you just happen to log on and see a thread enquiring about you! Don't tell us you're content just to be a lurker these days. It would be great to have your input again. Re. your comment about the size of T2W - sadly, big isn't always beautiful.

Well i am here, but as of tomorrow I am definately being (self) banned by t2w. I need to get this established in the coming weeks/months, & although yes i can avoid the t2w temptation, altogether a ban makes it easier - a bit like a gastric band to aid the weight loss seeker

If we continue to allow this site to over run by charlatans selling bangles to the hapless then there won't be any ChartMan's around for the next generation.
They will have left in disgust like many of the good ones already have before them.

I felt as if i had grown with them but they seemed to have disappeared
As an update on all this. I know FTSE beater more or less left the public trading face to concentrate on his golf swing.
Helen Q started the excellent eurostoxx site, but received an official cease and desist notice from the eurostoxx people in reference to her web site.
It would be nice to find out what happened to Skim. I think she went on to better her trading at pastures new after a stupid run in with a couple of people on this site. Think she decided it wasn't worth the effort. And I agree with her there.

Yes. The one thing I can thank TRO for is motivating me to learn how to use the Thread Ignore tool on multiple sites. But it doesn't improve the quality of either of them.

Chartman was unfortunately before my time on T2W although whenever his name is mentioned its always in a very positive way.
One thing that would go down well for this forum is a function where you can't just click on members names and view their old posts - bit too many usually for that to really work in a meaningful way - but it would be great to be able to find the actual threads that they started.
