All this talk of mechanical systems got me thinking and I just wondered which markets people apply their mechanical systems to. I already have an idea but would look forward to being surprised

That depends on whether or not I am looking for a 12.5% drawdown.

I'm not a mechanical trader but I do use ea's to alert me of possible trades and to handle open trades when I am busy. So I trade forex.

I use a mechanical method for my main stuff - equities - with a bit of discretion thrown in as to whether or where I take (or close) the trade
